All data stored in Firebase Firestore is encrypted in transit and at rest. Users can request full deletion of their data at any time (see Section 9).
BachelorPulse uses Firebase (by Google) for authentication, database, and crash reporting. Your data is stored securely in Firebase Firestore with strict Security Rules — you can only read and write your own data.
Our Android app requests only the minimum permissions needed:
We do not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, storage, or any other sensitive permission.
For any premium subscription, all transactions are processed through secure third-party payment gateways (such as Razorpay/Paytm). BachelorPulse does not store your credit/debit card or UPI details on our servers.
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings.
We also use browser storage (localStorage) to save your quiz progress locally on your device when you are not signed in.
Our platform is designed for students in Classes 6–10 (typically ages 11–16). We encourage parents and guardians to guide their child's online activity. For users under 13, we recommend parental consent before creating an account. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
The login system is entirely optional — all MCQ practice features are available without creating an account.
You have the right to request deletion of your account and all associated data (username, quiz history, badges, bookmarks, profile). To do so:
We implement industry-standard security measures including Firebase Security Rules, HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, and regular security reviews. Access to your data is restricted strictly to your own account.
Our Platform may contain links to external websites (e.g. YouTube). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies separately.
We may update this Privacy Policy as we add new features. The "Last Updated" date at the top will always reflect the latest version. Continued use of BachelorPulse after changes means you accept the updated policy.
